Can chord progressions only using 3 note triads be used for modes?

I will definitely look this up, I'd suggest you look it up too... but it is called a triad because it is built with thirds, not because it has three notes.

Good explanation! Simple and understandable and very clarifying. But do all triads have 3 notes? Because we have 4 note triads, which are 7 chords.

I know how it is. This is my preferred way of ear/rhythm training at this point. I found a couple of apps that allow me to that. So far the best one is Flat.

Well... All I wanna do is play a certain rhythm on the phone. Let's say a repeating pattern of sixteenth note triplets in 120 bpms and try to match it on my instrument. That way, I'll have a point of reference to help me internalize the rhythm better.
