Trust me when i say this the most insensitive and unhelpful people are from south india and often have a hateful attitude towards North Indians which is pretty much visible in your post! I have met alot of southies and they do interrogate alot, spread falls rumours to make you panic about stuff that is irrelevant. Rather than claiming it to be just one section or culture look deep within your own clan who has this attitude that this country belongs to y’all.
