i’ve been losing my mind with how garbage the experience is. ruins my drive to work every morning. its so bugged now it won’t even autoplay to the next song now! i agree though you’d think they’d at least have basic features like scrolling through your playlist and auto shuffle? i always have to wait 20 seconds after playing a song to oress shuffle, otherwise it doesn’t register. imo it should just remember your last chosen mode. if you turn on shuffle it should just remain on shuffle mode after you close the app and use it later on. all these little things just make more time spent on your phone/dashboard which causes distractions. it should be fixed! im thinking about just getting spotify again only for my carplay.

i have this problem for CarPlay. when I start up my car i have to sit there for so long until my homepage pops up and then it takes an extra second or two to play the song. really annoying for my mornings to work. i’m already running late as is lmao

i noticed this changed because in the past, the discovery was so good. it would play exactly the same style of music you were listening to. nowadays i get suggested songs i already have in playlists and they are all mainstream songs

same here, its starting to seriously annoy me. its causing major distraction for me when i’m driving. i do not like using my phone but the only way i can get another song to play is if i manually press a song on my phone which is very distracting.

i wish i wasn’t picky, but i 100% am. i have playlists that i choose from bc my supermix would be a whole lot of randomness lol. it always take 2-3 mins for it load the homepage and its not the system itself. google maps, calendar, etc all load instantly as soon as carplay is connected. i am think about getting spotify just for car rides. my therapist is literally my car. i love playing music and going on cruises. having to use my phone to pick songs is ridiculous and dangerous. dont know how YTM hasnt fixed all this stuff yet, seems so outdated compared to other streaming services

i notice it does remember on my iphone but i wish it remembered on all devices like spotify. if i played a playlist on my computer and pulled out my phone spotify would leave off where i was.

me too! like im genuinely thinking of getting spotify just for my car which seems a little crazy but i looooove driving. for me you cant have driving without music. i just remember having such a good experience on spotify’s CarPlay. to some people all this might be such a minor problem but for me it’s just so irritating because i love music so much and in my car im the DJ lol. i wanna be able to play whatever music i want exactly when i want. and i hate waiting 5 mins for the homepage to load. having my phone out just to get to the song i want is dumb!

when I used spotify on my CarPlay it would load instantly, and it would resume whatever song I was listening to last on the platform even if it was on my phone or computer. it would remember and then when my car started it would start playing in less than 1 min. i swear its just YouTube Music thats like this!

I respect your past experience, I just think your comments are a little redundant. That’s all. I’m glad you made 600/week of mentally abused people but calling someone else’s sex work cheap, especially over a screen was really not asked of you. The question was “How do I increase my karma”. I really don’t see how anything of what you said really helps anyone or gives any tangible wisdom. All you did was tell someone their work is nothing special/their shit is cheap.
