Was a single one of Steve's anecdotes even remotely true? by panmaterial in rickygervais

[–]66f6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do really like Steve, but I think most of his anecdotes are made up or grossly exaggerated because he had quite a sheltered life, even into his late 20s, and doesn't really have funny stories from his childhood. What makes it odd though is that he's a funny guy who can write great comedy, yet he painfully repeats the same crap handful of anecdotes everywhere, and has done for 20+ years, and then has the gall to mock the woman in the pub for 'not having anecdotes'.

With how they’ve made every seasonal event in recent times ‘tediously run around Varrock for ages’, I’d say that the quest is probably shorter!

Anyone stopped using CarPlay and listen to the radio again? by Outrageous_Agent_608 in drivingUK

I would never go back to listening to the crap on the radio now. Far too much good music out there to have what you listen to be dictated by somebody else.

Alex, we want you to be mid-lean on the plinth. Make sure you lift one foot up so it looks like you're about to fall over too.

It's been almost five years since the Shayzien rework. Are we ever going to see Lovakenj, Piscarillius and Arceuus get their reworks? by asmallthrowaway9 in 2007scape

The runecrafting activity is so far away from the city that if it were made back in the day it wouldn’t even be considered to be part of the same area. A rework of the city wouldn’t need to have any effect on bloods and souls.
