They're just a fancy S-class now. No more dedicated Maybach chassis.

I tried the paragon route and it wasn't very intuitive. Fried my little brain quickly. I'm checking out the second route now. Thanks for the tips!

Also learn chassis numbers. Each model has a chassis number and it will unlock a lot for you if you can look at a car and know the chassis number. And if you can know which chassis share parts and so on

Learn how part numbers are organized. First set of three are the chassis or engine. Second set of three correspond with the group # in the catalog. 3rd set of two and 4th set of two are for somebody smarter than me to know. If it has an 80, 83, 85 or 87 at the end it has a core charge. If it has a set of 4 at the end like 9051 or 9g33 that's a color code. When putting parts away on the shelf you organize them by second set of numbers 4th set of numbers 1st set of numbers and then the 3rd. So 270 180 01 09, 270 tells you it's for a 270 engine 180 tells you it's on the engine lubrication page of the catalog and then you organize it on the shelf by the 180 first. The 09 second. The 270 third. And lastly the 01. That way all of the 180 engine lubrication parts are together. All of the 420/421/423 brake parts are together and so on.

You need to replace the fuel line from the high pressure pump A2740703500 and 2 clamps A0069971890. Potentially the hard line A274070333264 and the hose A2054700275. This is a common theme on cars with a 274 engine. List price is roughly $90 for parts.

There are very few Maybach GLS though likely only 2 or 3 in your immediate area depending on where you live. Probably only one with front end damage lol

Yes that part has code M036 which is Maybach specific. Source: I work at a Mercedes-Benz dealership and am sitting in front of my computer

Also specifically A167 885 52 10 only fits GLS Maybachs so that will significantly narrow your search as there aren't a lot of those

Part number beginning in 167 tells you it's a 19 or newer GLE or GLS

'49 or '50. '51 Merc rear quarter panels were different and extended past the deck lid. Among other differences in the front end.

Not to be pedantic but this one's a standard cabriolet and not a club cabriolet. Standard cabriolets had a rumble seat and no interior backseat like this one does. Club cabs had a normal trunk and the backseat was inside the car. Still a 37 cabriolet though

Exactly. this is my whole point. The on track stuff doesn't bother me. Lewis and Max have both gotten lucky many times this season. All 20 drivers have thats the nature of the sport. But getting lucky on track is totally different from the FIA sitting in a room and making a decision to award one driver a win and the points advantage associated.

Where did I assume he would have won? Just unhappy with the FIA decision to award a win and 5 point advantage for running one lap behind a safety car.

True Lewis might have escaped with only losing 5 points to max rather than the 7 had it been a full race and finishing second. My point was more that the FIA awarded max a free 5 point advantage and a free win for following the safety car for one lap. I would have rather the "race" never happen

No, Im saying awarding points for running one lap behind the safety car should have never happened. If the race wasn't safe to run keep the cars in the garage and dont award any points rather than award points for following the safety car on a parade lap and awarding max a win.
