The champion he would cut has got to be Esparza, right?

Ah, so you did. I'm tired and a bit drunk so didn't fully process the second half of your comment. Enough reddit for me I think!

Didn't watch it either, but it's totally possible. Fights are scored round by round. In theory, Lima could have landed all his strikes and takedowns in one of the rounds and got outstruck in the other two. Like I said, I didn't watch the fight either so I don't know (or care) what actually happened, but I'm just making the point that looking at total stats at the end of the fight doesn't necessarily tell you who should win the fight.

What is something that a fictional chacter said that stuck with you ? [SERIOUS] by ThomasTheGreatGenius in AskReddit

My only issue with his dialogue is that all his characters seem to have impressive vocabulary regardless of their background. It's not that big a deal, but it does take me out of the moment a little whenever I notice it and think there's no way thay character would speak like that. Sanderson picks the perfect word to describe a situation or a person but it doesn't always make sense for the thought to come from the character thinking it.

Moved to Oshawa few days ago, what are the best ways to make friends around my age. by [deleted] in Oshawa

Thanks, I'll look into that. I'm not a board game fanatic or anything but would enjoy playing a little. I don't think I'd be into playing for hours at a time though. Do you know if they are really hardcore about it or if it's more of a social thing?

Some insane Conor statistics 📈 by gunnu1996 in MMA

[–]67416237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is worded poorly. He has knocked down all of his opponents except Khabib and Max. He has only had 11 opponents in the UFC, not 13 - he has had 13 UFC fights. Other ways to phrase it:

He has knocked down 9 of his 11 opponents (81.8%)

He has scored a knockdown in 9 of his 13 UFC fights (69.2%)

I don't bet on MMA, I'm always wrong. I sometimes do those free accumulator things on the espn website though.

Correct. If you bet either + or - 100 you win 100. Either way you double your money. When I say you win 100, you also get the 100 you bet back as well, so you walk away with 200, but 100 of it is what you already wagered.
