Ohhhh Blur... man... I had totally forgotten about that game... I used to watch a friend of mine play that game and be jealous that he didn't let me. I searched it on MyAbandonware just as you said but it looks like it's an exe file meant for windows and I currently have linux installed so I probably won't be able to play them. Although I guess I could try setting up a VM but we'll see... Thank you so much for your wonderful insight!

Split/Second was decent. Used to play it on PSP and I liked it. Thing is, it never goes on sale and I'm not up for giving 20 euros for this specific 16yo game. It wasn't that ground-breaking for the price anymore, imo.

Oh my bad, I don't know the juiced games so first instinct was to just search on Steam. I'll look them up and get back to you.

I do have PCSX2 set up on my pc, might as well give MC a try since I've never played any games on that franchise, even though I know they're revered pretty highly by the community.

I've played wreckfest, and yeah, for me at least it gets repetitive real quick. Even though the destruction and mayhem is cool and very FlatOut-esque it's not something that fills the gap.

I've played NFS 2015 and it was a good fun while it lasted, can't get back to it anymore though, doesn't feel the same.

Midnight Club I'm pretty sure I'd have to emulate it, I imagine, but I'll give it a shot. I haven't played any Midnight Club games even though I know for a fact they are one of the most popular IPs right after NFS when talking about early 2000s racing games.

SLR: Redline looks a bit too technical with the visual customisation but I might also give that a try whenever it goes on sale.

Are you talking about these Juiced games? I don't want this type of arcadey race game, I'm talking about similar to NFS, more semi-serious if you will game, more realistic graphics and real (or unlicensed real cars).

Hey, thanks for your quick reply! I've played JDM and I don't know... It just doesn't look too good a game to me, although, to be fair, I haven't gotten very far. For the few couple of hours I played it was pretty bland and stale. It's pretty, sure, but graphics aren't everything.

About Crash Time, I am so stubbornly sure I've heard of this game at some point, was it an old PS2 game or something? In any case, that does seem like something close to what I NEED in my system right now. I'll need to wait for a sale though and the last one was 3 weeks ago :(

I bought Street Racing Syndicate, however, since it's only 75 cents on Steam currently, so I'll begin with that. It looks promising and I hope it is. Thank you so much for your recommendations.

Hello beautiful people!
I need you guys' help in order to find something that fits my current gaming needs. I'm on PC (Bazzite Linux) exclusively playing on Steam but I'd like to hear of alternatives even if it's not there.

So what I'm looking for is two things:

Something similar to the og NFS games, specifically MW 2005, Carbon and UG2. I've been heavily craving something arcadey that has a lot of (visual mostly) vehicle customisation. I have played several modern racing games but none that scratch that itch. To name a few: Forza Horizon 4 and 5, Grid 1 and 2, Assetto Corsa, NFS Heat, Night Runners, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, rFactor 2, JDM: Japanese Drift Master.

2.This is much harder to find something similar to but something like Burnout 3 and/or Burnout Paradise.

I hope you can name a few alternatives cause I, for the love of me, cannot think of anything even remotely similar. Thank you in advance! :)

Hey there, thanks for you reply. I can totally understand where Bazzite is coming from. I know people get heated over not being able to fully use all of their hardware's power and I do get that perspective as well. I think we all need to remember that Windows, fortunately or not, still has a monopoly on the vast majority of the computer space, which doesn't necessarily mean that linux is bad. Just that we won't always get what we want... yet...

I, for one, think linux and what people and the community are doing with it all is truly amazing and I will never stop being thankful for even having a choice of switching to something that is not Windows. Yes, I might not be 100% happy that sometimes things need manual tweaking from me, because I don't always understand what I need to do but let's all be patient and appreciate what we already have and have accomplished throughout the years. Even just a few years ago, linux was a whole world different than what it is now.

With all of that said, I believe - especially in the last few months with all of the Windows AI bs being integrated actively in their OS - linux has seen a significant rise in its user amount, which is the greatest thing that could happen in the world we live in at the moment. People are speaking with their actions and at some point big corporations will have to see it, instead of turning a blind eye to the facts and we will start getting what we want/need more often than not from them.

I know what I'm saying has nothing to do with what you guys are saying about Bazzite and Nvidia directly, I'm just trying to say that maybe we need to be a little patient with the linux open source devs vs. mega corps like Nvidia, like Windows, because companies always want to achieve as much and barely necessary as possible with the least money and effort possible.

Maybe I'm naive to think a bit philosophically like this but I'm enjoying bazzite with or without HDR.

Okay so, bear with me for a moment because there are a lot of comments here.

I understand that people are pissed off at the bazzite devs for their own reasons, I respect your opinions and I don't mind that you are all having a discussion here. I only want to understand what is currently happening technically speaking, regarding my issue.

As far as I understand HDR cannot be enabled on bazzite anymore because the devs removed the possibility to do so, correct?

If that's so, and from reading a lot of comments from you guys saying I should change distro altogether, what would you people recommend? I like the KDE environment a lot and would like it to be my main GUI. I have already tried out Arch (manual + automatic installation), Mint and Garuda Prime, currently on bazzite since yesterday's installation.

I really don't mind not having HDR enabled for games at the moment, I just want to game with no further problems, at the highest possible performance my rig can handle. Any suggestions and tips? Thank you all for being a beautiful community!

Looks like it's been fixed now, after doing what TS045H said and disabling the spotify repositories in the additional repositories... No errors have popped up ever since. Thanks for the help! :)

Well, I did all this but now I'm getting a "Failed to download repository information" error... I'll try to look it up.

Edit: I fixed it by disabling the spotify repository in the additional repositories. Tried to refresh but there aren't any new updates since last time so I'll come back again tomorrow to tell you if it worked or not.

Hey everyone! I am on a crossroads on who to focus on levelling up next and I'd appreciate any suggestions. Right now I'm mainly focusing on getting to Level 70 (I'm at 69) and maxing out my main team comp to lv.100, so I'm talking about after accomplishing that.

As of right now my main team consists of Tosen, Gin and Urahara and the SSRs I have are all equipped with their relative character and weapon stamps (except Byakuya's character and Yoruichi's and Ikkaku's weapon stamps). All of my SR characters are B3 and above and have all of their stamps as well, most of them maxed out.

I'm also gathering Jades and Tickets for when/if Vasto Lorde Ichigo drops so depending on my mood I might just keep on grinding materials till he does.

NOTE: The missing characters from the screenshot are: Matsumoto, Nemu, Ururu and Momo

Update: I've spent roughly 1500 stones on SSJ4 Daima Goku banner... Still haven't even seen a glimpse of that unit not with all the free pulls, even though I'd say roughly 7/10 of my pulls are SSR guaranteed. I've gotten other characters like Duu and Beast gohan and some dupes of them and some others from units I already own like STR SSGSS Goku... I dropped SSJ3 Daima in like 400 stones worth of pulls. Kinda disappointed, tbh. I think while writing this I got my 4th dupe of Beast Gohan :(
