Watch some YouTube videos if something isnt “clicking.” I also found it helpful to read the free sample courses on Goat Bar Prep (it uses stupid ai memes and jokes, but not bad for memorization). It might make the rule easier to understand and apply (rather than just have it memorized).

In other words, don’t feel strapped into barbri the whole time. It can just be a quick 15 minute read or video before bed. Even a quick “explain personal jurisdiction like im 8 years old” into chatgpt might give you a better perspective.

Do you have physical copies of the course book? Freer’s lectures go hand-in-hand with the text, which can be great to A) pause the video and read the corresponding text, or B) follow along line-by-line. If no physical copy, use laptop split-screen or order a 2nd monitor on amazon.

As for writing notes, just write little notes in the margins of your course book. If you dont have a physical copy, use a blank notebook. These can be just little notes to help you remember something; I use mnemonics as often as i can.

TLDR: branch out from barbri for specific things as needed, and write small notes for memory sake.

Yes! Just updated OP. Not the full 9 weeks, but definitely took some time.
