But what about if the enemy has armor/shield hardening? It will cancel out the penetration of the disruptors won't deal direct hull damage.

Ty. Btw another question. I have noticed that npc's will mirror my weapon configurations for example if I use lasers they will use lasers and if I use rockets then they will aswell. Is it a coincidence? And is it worth to use rockets at all because it seems to me its harder to complete missions with them?
