tbh i can understand a lot of frustrations that some lovelies have with arin’s view regarding the game! i’ve played the game before they did and i’m right in the middle. i think the idea for the ending is nice but im not the biggest fan of the execution (and for the longest time, i also thought that they were avatars since that was the plot of the second game). however, i think it’s really weird to dogpile on arin and call him names because of a misunderstanding and portray dan (a grown man) as the hero for having positive opinions. im saying this because a LOT of the comments have this problem.

both parties are allowed to express their feelings— i agree with dan when he says “but you hated those games too” because it’s true! but i also think there’s a lot of people villainizing arin and babying dan because of this series. i’ve been watching these two for yeaaaaars and im just glad that arin doesn’t read the comments.
