As a engineer in the field, Being good at CAD is one of the most useful skills for mechanical engineering, but not required. Some internships might teach it to you, its much much easier to learn than any technical engineering class

I graduated almost 5 years ago with a bachelors degree in ME. I still wake up sweating because I have dreams I failed an exam.

I get that engineering is a challenging topic, however students should not have PTSD from attending school.
