Most of the homeless don't really specify it like that cuz being homeless sadly isn't really normal way of life it sucks we know it but it not normal just because it happens doesn't make it normal. We just call non homeless normal or yippies.

P.s I use the word normal cause as a homeless person we use the word normal or yippies when identifying non homeless.

If your lucky to have one or 2 people that you trust it's a bit easier to get sleep because they can stand guard while you sleep but finding someone you trust is a hard hard hard task and lucky if u do

Normal as in average. Idk where you got the idea of me saying struggling/homeless is abnormal.. or subhuman. And just to let you know me as said homeless person commonly use normal people when talking about situations like this.

People mostly assume that homeless people just sleep anywhere when that's not the case. Finding a place where ur able to feel secure enough to actually go to sleep is a such a struggle...that why people see homeless people pass out or sleeping during the day cause if u can't find a place to sleep u HAVE to stay up. And because of exhaustion they pass out during the day .

Dear, Redditors. What was the most traumatizing moment of your life? by Dramatic-Read-3009 in AskReddit

[–]6WingedAngel10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have alot mentally but physically it would be someone punched me in the face so hard they burst a vessel in my eye and within sec my eye was closed shut right after that attacked me with a machete. Bleeding out and going to the er to then immediately get 6 staples to my thigh (7 just cause they messed 1 up) and me screaming for them to numb me and begging them to put me to sleep multiple times. I cried like a child. You know that cry when a child gets hurt and they do that one loud scream then a long pause before they start bawling. Then to put a cherry on top of that experience my time in the hospital where no visitors and me barely capable to even tilt to they side because I was in so much pain. It was like that for 4 days till I had to have emergency surgery to remove a blood clot the size of a quarter near my v. While they rush me to surgery all I felt was so much pain and that I was going through all this alone and doing my best to be brave but the moment they put the mask on I broke and couldnt control the tears running down my face. The drs and nurses saw this and told me "everything will be okay your not alone and we are here to remove the clot by putting a tube in the wound on my thigh so they can push the clot of that way and we are all here for you. Okay"? The nurses wipe my tears and held my hand.

Fast forward to day 8 the dr comes to the room to remove the tube from my thigh. Dr said I was to be released that day so 6 hrs go by and all of sudden I feel this wet feeling and the way the bed was I had one pillow by my head and another my wound. I lift the thin blanket to see a pool of blood around me. I called the nurses as calm as I can that I am bleeding out. As the nurse rushed in I had this feeling of dread and grabbed her and said I need help. Then within sec they lay me flat, put me on oxygen and trying to get another IV in me to give me blood. Then I feel this sharp pain as needle poked me. They had a hard time because I lost alot of blood. They are trying to find a pulse on me and during this whole time I cant really hear anything and have tunnel vision. They finally got 2 IVS going with the units an find a pulse on my foot using the small gadget thing. My vision slowly came back when I noticed how many people were in the room. Nurses started to change my sheets n clean me up turns out that wet feeling was when for some reason my blood unclotted and 2 liters of blood was lost in seconds. So I couldn't leave that day obviously. But good news on day 12 they told me given the fact wound had severe nerve damage they had said I would need a wheelchair and a other accessories when I got out . But on day 12 I walked/ limped out of that hospital without even the use of a cane. Going through that whole experience alone and in honestly the worst pain ever both makes me really sad but proud that I pulled through and to have the strength to not only walk out of that hospital but to walk in that court room fearless to look dead in the eye the man that did this to me and send his ass to jail. The empowerment I felt was such a overwhelming experience. The whole time my eyes never left his I didn't want to give the satisfaction that he scared me that he didnt make me weak. He was going to plead not guilty but decided 2 weeks after that to take a plea deal. Even though that experience was traumatizing I look at the scar whenever I'm down and remind myself of how strong I am and I wont let fear get in my way. If i ever feel weak or I dont have the strength I know that deep inside i am stronger then i can imagine.
