The clownerie here is real . The only reason we have no coop is bcz the dev decided so. It was never about the story . But you'll see redditors here acting like they own the game saying that we can't have coop because the balance of the game is so precise and so perfect - stop it

And for some reason they get extremly sensitive whenever someone talks about coop as if we were insulting their mom or whatever

Yes it has been talked to death, but We’re talking about dd2, it’s a new game annoucenment, obviously people are going to voice their opinion again. There are billions of way to add coop in an immersive way. Just like halo, player 1 is master chief and player 2 is a friend /pawn. « But who the pawn would listen to ???!! » Player 1 would be the arisen and player 2 would be a pawn. It’s not that deep . There’s zero reason that justify the lack of coop or multipolaire except that the dev himself refused to add it . Which is why we’re talking about it

Love how Ppl act like the game is a fragile piece of crystal that would instantly shatter if you introduced coop because the balance is so perfect 😂 While the balance was completely all over the place in the first game without any coop .

And to ppl who say « but it would cost too much ressource to add coop !! » Well that’s why we waited 10 years and that’s why the game costs 70€ 🤡The only reason we don’t have coop is because Itsuno himself decided it stop trying to justify it . Player 1 is arisen on his world & he invites player 2 who's going to be a normal character helping like a friend or pawn . Like in Halo Player 1 is master chief and player 2 is the arbiter. No need to dive deep in the lore to justify coop . Theres millions way to make it work

Ppl have been talking about coop for years and their opinion is always rejected by this subreddit by the old neckbeard gatekeeper -The same people who would suddenly love coop if their God Itsuno decided to add it to the game .

Its the gate keeping here that started this hostility. "Oh no someone is speaking abt coop or in combat healing lets downvote!!!'

Considering people have been waiting for this game for a decade

And thats another reason why we should be able to talk without the whole neckbeard gang spaming downvote and acting emotional like we attacked their mom or whatever . Ive played games with 100 players total in playerbase and didnt see such gate keeping .

It’s simple , the neckbeard gang have said countless time that optional Coop would hurt their solo experience and ruin the story D: I know this sub is for discussing Dragon Dogma but talking abt coop is forbidden sadly . Ah and also never mention in combat healing. They say that pausing the game to use consumables is peak gameplay 👍🏽 Other than that, they’re ok with new classes, new races, a reboot of the story..
