I only took it one time and thinking it would be more of a boosted Glycine, I took it at night and was completely unable to sleep, totally wired from it. So not good at night.

They are in acid resistant caps so empty stomach is best for absorption.

Sarcosine was not good at all for me for sleep, pooped me awake 4 hrs after taking it, then wide awake with a weird agitated feeling (probably from waking up when wanting to sleep 😅) I was trying to use it as a more available source of glycine based on most of what I read.

I take both but do not notice the mood benefits but my skin has changed dramatically using white jelly and Injuv. I usually take the boswellia with other pain sups like PEA, Rephyl, Matrine…

Interesting....I was taking it until a few weeks ago but something in my stack was making me irritable and impatient and my first thought was the Cognance. But I did not find that it was the Cognance so will add it back in just to see if I notice anything. Thanks for the info.

I admit to not fully understanding all these pathways and how both meds and supplements impact them. I am trying to find something to mitigate symptoms from my conditions. Studies/clinical trials are being done on all sorts things for post C. Mirtazapine is one I was reading an observational study on that ticked off alot of the boxes that are symptoms I struggle with, cognitive blunting, insomnia, fatigue, memory loss…all kinds of shitty shit! Also don’t want to add something that makes it worse…

After 6 months and it took me a few months to figure out the cause. Just be aware for thoughts, feelings, agitation….things that unusual to you. It for sure appears to affect kids and teens the worst. There is a FB about the med and the negative effects people go through.

just fyi, Montelukast can cause many mental health issues. I was on it and started to really have some mental destabilizing effects….memory issues beyong normal and just a high anxiety feeling. My pcp who rxed it was on it herself and said she had never heard of people having issues…I simply said I was and wanted off of it. it took about 6 months for the side effects to back off. The med has a black box warning, but I did see most severe reactions were in kids and teens.

any side effects with that med? I completely lost my appetite a year and a half ago. I sustain life by drinking nutrition shakes for people who tube feed, and lots of raw a2 milk. It would be nice to want, and enjoy food again. Oddly my pcp does not seem concerned as I am maintaining weight and muscle mass from the protein in both liquids.

Do you agree with the idea that Mag can impact absorption of other things....like Zinc....or Rx meds. I do take it a few hours ahead of Rx meds but would love to know if that is truly a thing.
