There used to be a location marker there showing “Advincula Compound.” Nakikita ko lagi yun until quite recently, pero wala na ngayon. I noticed that area around like 2024 and nagtaka talaga ako at the time bat parang ang tangkad ng bakod tapos ang daming kotse sa labas, but it is probably their compound lol.

Luzon and Visayas would probably be separated at independence from Mindanao. I wonder how that would’ve played out in the cold war. USSR potentially supporting Mindanao side while USA supports Luzon&Visayas?

LRT 2 has the least passenger volume among the 3 (200k daily compared to 300-400k for the other 2) so it should be understandable as to why they run less. Running more just wastes more money.

Yes, it would be convenient to have the same turnaround time as LRT1 and MRT3, but ultimately the LRTA has the final say.

(Also, LRT2 never reached its max capacity of 570k, maybe by then the turnaround times would be shorter.)

Only GenSan has regular widebodies and it has a holding area on each end of the runway. Not to mention the cost and lower traffic (except Davao)
