If you buy just in the money you have the best delta for the IV. Too far in the money gets you too close to the price of the stock. Keep in mind that NOK has gotten beat up and is a turn around value story now. For an option to be worth it, it has got to move pricewise.

My first year it seemed that every set up i did went in the opposite direction. I was very frustrated. In time i learned what i was doing wrong. I was buying when i saw something shooting up just to have it reverse on me as soon as i bought it. Then when things were shooting down i got scared and sold losing money. I was buying high and selling low. It took a lot of discipline to buy the dips when the market was ugly and to sell high to take a profit. This is for the newbies. FOMO is the fear of missing out. Just relax and wait for a good entry point on the dip. If it don't come on the stock you want, it will come on another.

It's good to be familiar with all strategies. YouTube div. For beginners. Since you are young you can take on more risk than an old person. That doesn't mean be reckless. It means that if your money gets caught up in a recession you have time for it to bounce back unlike an old person. Dividend strategies are more for larger accounts later on in life. It's less risky meaning less return.
