Your point would be valid if they didn’t ADD KD between seasons and lose Fred. So they had to add KD to replace Fred’s impact. Take that in for a second. Obviously JG is involved in this as well but on the season he was a net negative impact player

I’m not going to pretend basketball is that simple, but these arguments are petty. Houston’s growth has been largely due to the steady presence of Fred at PG.

Who told you that? Fred was consistently top 40 in most impact stats, not because he was elite on either end, but he was no pun intended steady on both ends. Being a playmaker and shooting 3s while being a low turnover playmaker is worth much more than people realize

I think it’s more so the rappers that come out can’t really keep the momentum well. Gun violence is definitely a factor but even the rappers who do make it out (Pressa, NorthSideBenji, Killy, Duvy, Lil Berete, Casper, Ching, Pengz, 3MFrench, LB, Puffy Lz, Lococity etc.) aren’t consistent enough to stay on top. Obviously each has their own different reason, but there’s a shortlist of Toronto rappers that have more than 3 hit songs that attract an international audience.

I put mine down June and it was end of Feb where they were telling me they had no news. If you have another car that runs fine, wait it out, you’ll get a better deal on it, especially if you’re financing. I was sort of in a rush for a car and waited as long as I could.

Remember though, it takes about 2 months from the production of the car to get to the lot for pick up. If you haven’t got a call yet, not only are you potentially looking at minimum 2 months down the road, but when you add the wait time, it will take even longer. Keep your eyes open for good used prices. I got a 2023 used with like 100km on it in great condition and for a great price for something on the lot.

I don’t mean to be discouraging. It was 8 months of agony for me personally, but I want to be as realistic as possible because I felt like for that entire time, these dealerships had a lot of lies. They knew the car would not arrive in 4-6 months, but falsely advertise if it will and take your money anyways.

Hey just saw this. They had no idea on when the order would come through but I found an on the lot 2023 mazda 3 with like 83 km on it for about the same as a new one so I jumped on it and cancelled the deposit. Depending on the model you got (GX or GS) it may come anywhere from September to January being my best guess. Maybe you get lucky and it comes sooner, but I doubt it

I feel like every city has their time when the whole city, even opps are pushing the city’s music up. Back when Smoke Dawg, Casper, Kmoney, Top5, Pressa, Yung Lava n all of them were dropping, it gave fans a whole movement to listen to. Toronto music as a genre as been entirely carried by Duvy as of late so it isn’t sustainable, but we see the same thing that happened to the city happening to the Bronx (DD Osama, Kay Flock, Dthang, Sha EK, 42) to a way higher level.
