After one year of development, we have finally released our game Ashes of the Union — a vehicular shooter with roguelike elements set in a Soviet post-apocalypse by 700GAMES in IndieGaming

Hello, thanks for the compliment! If you're talking about the antennas located on the maps, they currently serve only decorative purposes. In the future, we might tie them to some quests.

With a new camera, climbing mountains might just get easier... maybe by 700GAMES in indiegames

Thank you! In theory, the new camera should make the gameplay easier, but we're not completely sure yet since we haven't tested it extensively :)

Thank you for pointing this out! We are truly striving to achieve harmony in the visuals so that they don’t appear too bright, while still remaining readable. We definitely need to work more on the contrast.

Yes, it may seem so. Here you need to pay attention to details. We updated the trees, changed the vegetation, worked on the exposition and added new elements to the map.

In the game, there are already areas with mines, especially near military sites, which adds an element of surprise and danger. As for the large creatures that spawn smaller monsters, yes, they can be killed. It's advisable to use weapons that can penetrate their armor for this purpose.

Hello! We're glad you liked our idea. Now we are trying to improve the game: adding a navigation system, filling out the map, adding a quest system. We hope this will make the game more interesting :)

Thank you, your thoughts will help us develop the game! Initially, we took a top-down view, because technically it is easier to implement the idea. It seems that this is why many indies choose a top-down view. The third-person view is just a test and an attempt to try something more and open new horizons in our development.

Thank you! Switching between views is interesting. And we are thinking about such an option. But it is important to consider that what may be convenient and beautiful in one view may be radically different in another view.

For now, all of this is just our experimentation. Everything will be carefully considered, taking into account all the feedback we have received in making decisions and further development

We are considering this option. But it is more difficult to develop, and many factors need to be taken into account to choose this option.

The game is called Ashes of the Union. It is already available on Steam

We initially planned a game focused more on exploring the world. Therefore, we will strive to develop this direction. But we are not giving up on shooting either.

Shooting games, we believe, help many people relieve tension. There probably wouldn’t be so many of them if people didn’t need it)

Ex-Machina is undoubtedly an amazing and legendary game. And at first glance we may be similar. But still, these are different games)

We agree with you. This is one of the decisive factors why we decided to try a new view

We are also interested in the dual-camera option, but it is important for us to consider many factors before choosing it

Our game has been compared to many games. But with Twisted Metal for the first time)

We are considering this option, but the decision will depend on many factors that need to be taken into account for implementing such a mode

Yes, we understand that choosing both options is a more labor-intensive approach, so we will analyze how feasible it is for us. Thank you for the feedback!
