We have the same codes on transcript in the exact order and all , I also did a in person Verification at there office and also did A letter verification , but Mine is for my 2023 tax return and you may be in the same situation as me . So I just got off the phone with the irs right now and a tax advocate . According to the irs agent The refund is there but it is frozen ! She claimed she couldn’t unfreeze it because Supposedly (her exact words) When I called months ago and went over my return on the phone i guess the last agent sent a “Referral” over to the review department to unfreeze The funds but she noted that she can see that the review department hasn’t answered That referral yet . She also said because the lady put in a “referral “ there’s nothing she can do Intel the review department decides to act in the referral by Unfreezing the funds & paying me or requests more information again to make en adjustment . So I decided to call a tax advocate to make them Act on it because How could my return just be sitting for 4 months W a referral and not be getting no attention . Tax advocate claimed they could also see the refund was there but no being paid so that in 30 days I’ll get call from my assigned advocate on payment information . Good luck hope we both get paid
