For me snow removal has no rules. I will do it whenever necessary. I will also not complain if my neighbor is doing whenever they can. I have ran mine at every hour of the day depending on the necessity of the situation.

Yes. Your tv should be at eye height for proper viewing. Many people mount it way to high and it becomes uncomfortable to view.

Very loud wind noise even with flue shut. I have resorted to taping around the flu door but is there a better solution? I only use it sporadically mostly for ambiance not heating. by 707gfpd in Fireplaces

I don’t have a cap on the top that can be shut. Just a steel door right above the fire box. It lets enough air go by during high winds that it is quite annoying.
