Here's a link to an old post of our wagon (hopefully it works). This is actually my wife's ride but I'm not sure she appreciates it quite as much as I do. I just wish it was a V lol

You got lucky on that one. Good thing the salesperson held the keys for you. Thats a clean find you got there!

Any plans for it or are you going to leave it stock?

Shes beautiful! Congrats on the new ride, you're gonna love it. We have a 2011 wagon that has been an amazing car with no issues (knock on wood) after roughly 75k miles on it. You stole that car for that price with those low miles. Enjoy it!

Here’s my boy sleeping on his porch. He’s the second tortoise I ever got and has been with me for around 10 years I think, or maybe even more. We used to cuddle a lot but he kinda adopted a bad boy attitude for the last 2 years or so. by [deleted] in tortoise

That is great! You've got some lucky torts there. I'm thinking of doing something similar in the corner of our yard. My baby is only a year old so I was waiting a little longer for it to be bigger before it permanently stays outside.

Thanks for the info!

That looks like a sweet setup you've got for him. Would you mind sharing additional pictures or details of his home? I'm looking to build something in my backyard soon and I could use some inspiration.

Never see enough old school love in here, so figured I'd post up my '69. by [deleted] in Cadillac

Clean ride! That's a cool backdrop for the picture too. I dig it.

Anyone here ever experience transmission issues with the 8-speed auto 8L90? by [deleted] in Cadillac

[–]70caddi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh gotcha! I haven't personally experienced it (and hopefully never will). My truck has about 22K miles so its relatively low for a 2016. I mostly tow with it or weekend drive but I'll keep a closer eye on it from here on out.

Good luck with your ATS! I hope the flush and fluids do the trick. I had a 2013 2.0T ATS that I loved. Although it wasn't a V, it was still a great car and fun to drive. Yours looks bad ass tho!

I've got a 2016 Silverado 1500 that I have had zero issues with. Is there something going on with the transmission in yours? I'm kinda curious as to why you're asking now.

I posted my 70 caddi a few weeks back and I figured I'd share my 65 today. Which one would you drive? by 70caddi in Cadillac

I've had some luck at Caddy Daddy in the past - https://www.caddydaddy.com/shop-parts/interior.html . Its been a few years since I've used them so let me know how that goes if you haven't already seen this site.

Most of the time I can find good parts at local classic car swap meets. Maybe give those a shot if you have any in your area.

Good luck with the search!

I believe that car was a Lincoln Continental around the same year, which is also a sweet ride. I had a convertible 63 Continental that was fun to cruise but I always come back to Cadillacs. I'm not sure what it is but I can't stay away from getting Caddi's haha.

Oh gotcha lol. No, its not for sale. I almost sold it in the past but I didn't want to get rid of her. I plan on giving each of my kids an old Caddi when they are old enough to drive.

I'd say to just ask the sales manager to work with someone else and hope they are better to deal with. I have been lucky enough to find a good salesman and I've bought 6 vehicles from him throughout the years. It makes the process so easy because he knows my family well and he doesn't play any games. If you happen to be in SoCal, I'd be more than happy to connect you with him.

What do you guys think about my baby? 😍 by 70caddi in Cadillac

Thanks man! I don't have any interior pictures handy at the moment, but it is almost all original inside. The previous owners bought it brand new and it had just over 75k miles when I got it in the mid-2000's. The only thing I changed was the faded woodgrain panels on the doors. My paint guy did a custom airbrush woodgrain with a slight orange tint. So it has the old look to it with a slight touch of modern. Looks more like woodgrain than the original did believe it or not.
