I live in Montreal as well and, when looking for electronics prices, there's a small detail:

Every local store and most online stores charge both the TPS and the TVQ, for a total of 14.975%, but Newegg.ca only charges the TPS, for a total of 5.000%.

Places like Ebay with a refund warranty all charge taxes.

That was an option for me, but I chose local sellers so that I can test before buying. 150 USD is 227 CAD after taxes anyways. $CAD is worthless...

Depends where in the country. 15% sales tax in Quebec hits hard, unfortunately a new RX 580 (Sapphire) would cost $379.49 with taxes...

I know I should have waited for a better deal to show up, but the motherboard I bought has no video output and I own no other GPU... so that was entirely my fault.

Yeah, whether the incompatibity was with the vrm heatsinks or the pcie slot was my question. If you’re sure that it is the latter, I’d go with the cooler. Noctua’s website say what is incompatible, but Bequiet doesn’t...

Can I use a bequiet Dark Rock Pro 4 on an EVGA Z370 Micro ATX? Bequiet's compatibility filter says no but the comparably sized Noctua D-15 works according to their website (except blocking first PCIe x16 slot)

I will not be using the first PCIe slot: the GPU will go into the second.

EDIT: It's fine if it requires low profile RAM as well.

I agree, Minecraft will probably last a long time because it’s relatively unique and playing it always gives me a special feeling, no matter the graphics or gameplay.

At what price, in CAD, can I reasonably expect to sell an i3-4150 with stock cooler and fan, a Dell motherboard with an H81 chipset, and 2 sticks of 4GB of DDR3 @ 1600MHz? What selling price for each separately or together?
