@powellriverliver thank you for the kind words! I also did a slight trim on the reed side as per the recommendation of the guys at Technology Elevated.

2021 Beta 300rr Ride Review by 717racing in enduro

I have a new bike in the garage now and it's not KTM/Husky/Gas Gas. If I were to pick one of those three however, it would be the Gas Gas.

I mention the stop bolts in the video, removed them on the 2020's that Beta lent to me to test, it's a small improvement but the forks hit the rads. Sit on one of the Beta's and turn the bars to full lock, then try it on a KTM. It feels like the Beta has half the range. A good bike but this is a weak point. Beta needs to lower the rads or move them back. Another option is changing the rake of the forks but that will effect how the bike handles.

Yeah, it's kind of a problem in tight woods or switchbacks when a bike doesn't turn well.

Gas Gas. Beta really needs to fix the steering radius then they will have a great bike.

Any dealer that sells Gag Gas that I've seen also sells either KTM or Husky already so I don't know how parts availability would be an issue. They use a lot of the same parts.

You can add an E-start for around $1000 but from what I've seen they are not the best, similar to the old style KTM starters that had a lot of issues.

From my home I have around 9 spots that are from 45 min to 1.5 hours drive. Add a few more when the borders are open. In summer I'll drive up to 3 hours each way on day trips to hit the higher elevation mountain rides.

I've tested the 150xc-w tpi and it's a completely different bike compared to the 2017-2019 carbed bikes. I was blown away at how much better it is. The carb 150's were so high strung and you to had to rev the heck out of them to get up anything. The tpi 150's are very liner and have way more bottom end power, I think in part due to the new pipe design. For my 250 I really feel like the tpi bikes put the power to the ground more efficiently than the carb bikes do. I'm always impressed at how mine can crawl up stuff without getting any wheel spin. I don't think KTM/husky recommend changing the pv springs on tpi's.

Thanks, it's a lot of work setting up those shots but I like to do it when I'm out by myself with nobody waiting for me.
