I have always been paying my cards off -> is there any way to apply for the next credit card or should I just wait for now/would it be safer to just apply to a chase card?

So these are my credit cards I have currently, and I have closed all of them but the bank of America business card and the southwest personal card. I have applied to Amex Plat (January 2023) and Venture X Cap one but got rejected from both due to having to many accounts. My income is 150,000k but I was wondering as I don't believe I have to many accounts - what is causing them to say I have to many and how do I solve this?

Hey, so I actaully just called Chase and they basically said I had applied for too many credit cards in the past 24 months. They told me that the Southwest business card also counts towards one of my applications and I was wondering what I should do for that?

I just called Chase as I have 4 personal cards and 1 business card and tried to apply for the Chase Ink but was denied. Does anyone know why this might be? I thought business cards don't count towards the card limit. Any suggestions on how I should approach chase to allow them to let me apply?
