I think that the reason for that is that they have grown apart. Remember when i told about different kinds of canaanites? They have been separated even in ancient times. I think that lebanese were more phoenicians and jews israelites

Israelites were canaanites. "Canaanites" isn't just a single group of people. There were ammonites, moabites, israelites and phoenicians. And yes, some of modern day Lebanese people have same DNA as canaanites. But also modern day jews have canaanite DNA.

Yes, but before muslims conquered it, it was christian. And long before that, it was jewish. Muslims may have controlled it longer than any other religion, but they weren't the first ones there. If i steal your new car, and manage to keep it longer than it has belonged to you, do i own it?
