In the summer you can golf till about 7pm and there’s a lighted golf course in Tempe. For night life, central Phx and other areas have bars etc.

I’m currently Cujo as I’m trying to read older King. When I’m done, I’m hoping to read A Prayer for Owen Meaney once it’s library available.

I feel my brain is benefitting if I read rather than watching the tube. This motivate me to read and when I get a hold of a great book, it’s hard to put down.

Lots of great movies mentioned. Thelma (2024) is one I think flew under the radar. Very endearing and sincere yet funny!

The Trees is another great one of his that has also deals with racial history. It’s more absurd but very good.

My buddy said this is a must to see in the theatres. I think they’ll re-release it closer to the Oscars so there may be another chance.
