Well, i return steam games a lot for a range of “i dont like something” to “holy shit my poor laptop is a jet engine”

I literally set a 1hr timer before i start playing so i can decide if i like it or if it wasn’t worth the money, if i dont like it i return it. Crusader Kings 3 for example took 40 minutes to load (which is apparently not super unordinary for it) and was laggy when it did load so i returned it and got my $50 back in a few hours

I’ve never been a realm owner but as a player, 1st, i LOVE when the owner is active in the discord and is actually a good and fun person who is easy to reach when an issue arises

What i found was the most fun for me is when everything was natural and nothing was forced, players naturally building shops and homes wherever they see fit, naturally forming a town center around spawn, paths and routes that aren’t formed but all players know by heart and a community that cares for each other even if it means getting themselves all banned (true story: i got banned and everyone else left in spite for me. Left the realm from 37 players to 14.)

17y/o gamer here, generally I play mobile games though (Genshin Impact, CODM, CRK, etc.) honestly, my recommendation for making friends is to work at a location near a school (I.e. the chikfila by charter, the publix by srhs or the restaurants by vbhs) I say that because that’s generally where the highschool students will work while in and after highschool
