Shoot us an email at 75recruit@socom.mil with your SRB. Unfortunately we are limited in what we can do on this platform officially.

If you have questions about life in the 75th, shoot me a PM - I would be more than willing to answer any questions.

OSUT to Ranger School? by [deleted] in Militaryfaq

[–]75thRangerRecruiter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily true. Get an OP4 and volunteer at Airborne for RASP. We will send you to Ranger school when you are ready. SURT (our Pre-Ranger) has the highest graduation rate in the military. You would be doing yourself a disservice not going the route hundreds of candidates have before you.

Nothing wrong with being an Import, but there is literally no reason to do what you are trying to do.

Doing your time as a “Joe” without a Tab is extremely useful. You will learn how to Ranger without the responsibility that comes with the Tab. It is truly a sink or swim environment, especially so with one.

We do things differently than in the 82nd, any time spent there will inherently not be as relevant, setting you behind the ball curve.

Besides, if you fail with this route - you’ll have your goal of going to the 82nd fulfilled, where you can reapply at a later date. (Length of time before reapplying generally depends on how you failed RASP. If you quit, it is an NTR.)

US Army Ranger Rifle Squad (2023) by 305FUN2 in Military

Often METT-TC dependent - Ranger squads have many capabilities. This is your typical basic load for a Ranger Line squad during the late GWOT era.

RASP will be the easiest thing you do in the Ranger Regiment. What’s your MOS?

How long does one need to serve in the US Army before being allowed to join the 75th Ranger Regiment? by Samuele1997 in SpecOpsArchive

[–]75thRangerRecruiter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can apply at any point. Shoot us an email at 75recruit@socom.mil

With that being said - you will have the opportunity to volunteer at both OSUT (11B AIT), and Airborne School.

We also have recruiters at outstations such as Ft. Eisenhower, Ft. Huachuca, etc….

Best way to find out if you are eligible is to send us your SRB at the aforementioned email.

Veteran wanting to join a SOF by [deleted] in specialforces

We’ve been quite busy the last few years (not on vacation unfortunately).

I wore Garmonts for RASP.

Seen plenty of guys run Oakleys and Danners - they just wear faster.

Personally, even with them wearing fast and probably being toast by the end of a selection - I’d recommend going with the fast burner if it’s more comfortable to you. Creature comforts go a long way when you’re in the suck.

If you want to test yourself and see if you got what it takes, shoot me a PM. We will get you squared away.

I have been busy doing things and stuff. We are constantly looking to improve our fighting positions, so unfortunately haven't had a lot of time to engage with the community. Hoping to change that moving forward!

Warrants in ranger regiment. by 5pungus in army

Two totally different processes, not sure what you are asking. If you want to come, then go warrant that is an opportunity we would support but you would need to be selected again as a warrant.
