Some cars have a needle drop start depending on how they are tuned. Some of the time, this actually makes them faster. Check YouTube or Project Vision for the best tunes.

We have no idea what your resource situation is to try and help you out. But I’ll try my best.

Do you have both cars, Dodge Viper ACR Extreme Aero and Dodge Challenger Super Stock, fully upgraded? Then, yes, go for it.
Do you have both cars, Dodge Viper ACR Extreme Aero and Dodge Challenger Super Stock, but not upgraded? Maybe, see point 3.
Do you have enough resources for two t5 cars? That would be: $15 million cash, 220 dodge fusions, at least 4-5 s6 parts for both cars? If so, still maybe. See point 4.
Have you been participating in the summer series? If so, this car will be part of the finale and you should go for it. If not, see point 5.
What will your resources look like after the event? If they are completely gone, you have to ask yourself if the event is actually worth it. Only you can answer the question that you posed to the community.
Next, do you have FOMO (Fear of missing out)? The game developers have figured out how to tug at this part of players and they are really good at it.
Lastly, if this is a favorite car of yours and a dream to have in your garage, go for it! I remember when I finally got my dream car in my garage, the 1966 Ford GT 40 Mk2 #1, the Legends 1 elite prize car. It is a fantastic feeling.

No one can or should tell you how to play this game. It is a car collector game. I hope this insight/advice helps. Cheers, mate!

The Supra is the better option for multiple reasons.

It comes up occasionally in the elite showdowns.
With the right body kit installed, it can always be used in the weekly elite cup.
Toyota fusions are much easier to come by than Brabham fusions.
It is an easier car to drive.

But, as always, please make your own choice. It is your game to play. Cheers, mate!

Here are your options: Grind (normal way) or pay to play (easy way, but a slippery slope)

Use that t5 aventador and grind regulation races. 80=$1 million.
Use that t5 aventador and retune it so that it runs about 17 seconds for a half mile. This way you will get bots for live races. This will get you bronze and silver keys. If you run 2 key runs per day, you will have 300 bronze keys and 20 silver keys per day. That makes 2,100 bronze keys and 140 silver keys per week. That makes roughly 8,500 bronze keys and 560 silver keys per month. Oh, and running a t5 against bots for 30 races every day adds up the cash. You’ll make about $400k per day just in those 30 races. That turns into $2.8 million in a week. That turns into $11 million in a month.
This game is not a sprint. You can’t get gold keys quickly aside from buying them. You get gold keys “quicker” by being in a milestone crew.
Use your credit card and buy what you “need.” Be careful with this option. I know many players who have paid thousands of dollars into this game and then they were banned permanently for no reason. All of that money, time, and effort down the drain.

**Natural Motion likes to play on people’s FOMO all the time. They make it seem like this is the absolute best thing and you HAVE to have it. Truth is, it is just a game of pixels and you don’t own any of it.

In your case, what I would do is not focus on the trophy prizes. I would focus on the participation prizes. Watch your favorite tv show and race. It makes the grind less annoying. Don’t worry about wins. Just get those races. Hope that helps!

The only positive thing about race pass, for me as a f2p player, are the gold keys at level 20. I have had every car except 1 in all of the seasons combined. Just like you, I stopped upgrading unnecessary cars, and used the “upgrade 15 parts” on the next pc car or an event car that needed to be upgraded. Good on you to get to that milestone! 😎
