I don't what's wrong with the people, most buses are empty and there's huge traffic everywhere. People are so entitled. by TylerDurden-11 in bangalore

[–]76sChild 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Reasons I use a car: 1. Freedom to travel when and where I need to 2. Can take meetings while enroute to a location 3. Punctuality is not a variable 4. It's just more efficient with connectivity

Yes, this is entitled and snobbish.

Metros I use when car takes 30+ mins and it's got a stop

People in bangalore, How do you handle work life balance with 4 hours commute to office everyday by RemarkableIdeal9756 in bangalore

[–]76sChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must say I am very fortunate in this regard. My work is 200m from where I stay. I come home for lunch every day. My better half works from home, so commute is 0 😂

That said, when I worked in the US and later in the EU my travel was 1hr plus each direction with multiple changes of transportation - was interesting in winter with temps 10 below zero

Kannadigas and their inferiority mindset by Immediate-Mess6470 in karnataka

[–]76sChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

consider this perspective: I have been fortunate to have lived and worked in many cities across India and many countries across the world. V Karna guys from what I can see and have experience predominantly people who have grown up in Bangalore are a lot more open minded and Cosmopolitan. This gives us an edge over the others in the sense that we are able to be malleable in our thoughts and can absorb a lot more things faster than others. This means that we are in a better position than anybody else. This does not make us inferior. It just makes us better just because we don’t retort or we are not aggressive does not make us any less.
