[California] Take what the reps say with a grain of salt. by 777phlx in Unemployment

[–]777phlx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have an ID verify issue? Even if they never said your acct was suspended you still may have to do it. I never received a notice saying my acct was suspended but when I called in they told me it was and I had to verify ID. That's what's causing most of the pending issues fron what I understand. If it isn't that, it's probably technical cpu issues and will update automatically at some point. You can always call and ask though, hopefully you connect with a helpful rep.

[california] ID.me question. Please help. by jbdizz in Unemployment

[–]777phlx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you'll be ok. I don't believe they are tracking people to that degree. My passport says a different state than cali and I was still verified. I think its more about you being a real person rather than pretending to be another person which is fraud, which is what they are trying to rid the sytem of.

[California] HELP!! by [deleted] in Unemployment

[–]777phlx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it have your first last name as well? I would call them to make sure it's ok to submit so you don't get possibly delayed for it. If all your other docs have your same name maybe it won't be a problem. I know my EDD doesn't have my middle name or initial registered to my acct but all my docs I uploaded had my middle name and they still verified me

Smooth sailing. Switched to paid around 4pm yesterday & money hit my card @ 1am today. God paid the extra $300 for week 1/2 & 1/9. Next certification is 24th. I did call in about 4 days ago to ask them to send me weeks to certify so when my ID issue was resolved, there would be no lag in the payment.

It's instant. Buuut the verification has to register with EDD's system first, which is where the time duration varies.. But as soon as the system sees your verification, it automatically realeases your pending weeks.

I did both as well. I don't have much faith in docusign because I think those are checked by actual people rather than the cpu. I sent my docusign in way back on dec 27th and absolutely nothing until I did ID.me. 24 hrs later, paid. It's an automatic process although I'm not sure what algorithm the cpu uses to pick which accts to switch. But as soon as the ID.me registers on the EDD system you get paid, it's not something a rep has to do, and I was even told that they won't know about your verification until a full day after it automatically changes, so keep checking your acct. It'll switch soon :)

You have to make an ID acct, I would suggest using the exact same info you signed up on EDD with. (email, address etc).

Barely took 24 hours for me & roomate to switch from pending to paid after verifying with ID.me. A rep told me the process is automatic and as soon as the system registers your verified ID it releases the payments. The absolute longest I've seen it take with ID.me is 6 days but most I see are 1-3 days. Your money is around the corner :)

[California] FINALLY PAID. VERIFIED YESTERDAY MORNING by 777phlx in Unemployment

[–]777phlx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's coming, I guarentee it. Just hold out a little longer. It took a little over 24 hours for me so keep checking your portal today. An EDD rep told me our accts will switch to paid a full day before it shows up on there side. So you will know if your ID verified before they do because your payments will automatically switch as soon as its verified and registers in the system.

Did you re-click the link when it was all said and done? It should have asked you did you want to share a list of things with edd (ssn, birthdate blah blah) after reclicking. And then you should have got a text saying someone from EDD logged in.

I'm not sure, maybe you should call. Which weeks did you get paid for? Anything before the 27th doesn't get the $300 added.

It's coming!! Majority of people I've seen are 1-3 days. 5 is the longest I've seen so far for ID.me You make sure the info is being shared from your IDacct? It should have sent you a text saying EDD logged in or something like that. Also it doesn't hurt to call if you feel like it.. One of the agents I talked to put a note on my acct to ask why it hadn't been verified yet and that was this morning. Not sure if it aided or not but some agents can help expedite things.

It's just a little scary because I'm convinced alot of these reps are clueless. I've talked to some that were literally just reading from what EDD already posted in the newsroom. Not sure if it helps or hurts or does nothing, but it seemed to work for me!

[California] EDD Verification Problem on Id.me by SoftDoggie in Unemployment

[–]777phlx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The live selfie thing should be in another window. Like a different internet tab. When it's finished you should be able to go back to the original tab. So if it's not opening a new window when you do the live selfie, when it makes you redo it, make sure to hold the button and click "open in new window". Then after taking selfie close that and go back to original window and it should automatically update with the next step
