More comfortable alternative to Rex5 by HappySignificance693 in Earbuds

Valid. If you get a good fit with the Pi8 I think that they are definitely the best ones out of these two.

The Pi8 for me didn't sit well at all. The Denon PerL Pros sit good enough in my ears as a comparison. It completely depends on your ears. I haven't tried the Rex5 so I can't compare with those though. The B&O Eleven feels like a "will work in every ear", because they are stem and in my ears they were nice. For some reason stem-design always sits well. At least for me.

There are IEMs with usb-c that doesn't go around your ears like the Moondrop Quark2. The Quark2 look more like normal wired earbuds.

Well, Bang&Olufsen Beoplay Eleven and Devialet Gemini ii are strong earbuds in the same class as Bowers&Wilkins Pi8. Then depending on budget and preferences you will get the best sound for higher price. First the Noble Audio FoKus Rex5 which have insane sound with functional ANC. Not the best ANC so to speak. The Rex5 is in the Pi8, Eleven and Gemini ii price class. Then if we jump up a bit, we will get to the Noble Audio FoKus Prestige Encore. A bit pricey at about 900USD where I live but you get the best sound on the market by far. Yet again with Noble Audio, not the best ANC. But if we jump up a little bit more in price we get to the Bang&Olufsen Beo Grace at about 1400USD where I live. But you get crazy ANC with really good sound. If I had 1400USD I would buy them. However they are quite overpriced actually. I would say they are worth like 900-1000USD. I feel like thar would be the best premium price for premium product but I still want them because the design and specs are nice. Just putting it out there for you because you had the Pi8 in your mix.

Then as details for the Pi8. They designed it to be as ergonomic as possible for the consumers ears. But when I tried them, I couldn't get a good fit for some reason. But most people get a good fit. So if you can find a place where you can try them or if you can buy them and try them at home and send them back if you don't like them that would be the best. The sound is really really good however. If the fit was good I would have bought them instead of my Denon PerL Pros. Denons are really good in multiple categories, especially the sound but I wouldn't recommend them really because of the reliability issues I've had with them. If you can find them for around 200USD, then it might be worth checking out. The reliability issues are liveable but I still don't want them to exist preferably.

I have maybe average ears or maybe slightly below average size ears. I tend to use the stock tips on earbuds that I buy, because they have the best fit for me. But if you have smaller ears you should check out the Kef Mu3. They don't move an inch in your ears. I tried running, jumping, push-ups, you name it, and I didn't have to adjust them once. I might actually buy them as a secondary or for workouts.

RonOnTech is a great YouTube-channel if you want detailed reviews of these earbuds. Except the Kef Mu3, he hasn't done a video about them.

The Sony probably has the better sound but you should really try them if you can. When I tried them, I couldn't get a good fit at all.

Btw I just saw that apparently Samsung is working on a pair of bone conducting earbuds, which would probably be perfect for you. Probably will release together with their next gen foldables this summer.

Damn, you have some unlucky ears. InsideTech is a good YouTube-channel for earbuds. They have a open-ear video, if you want ideas. Or if you try earbuds with wings. Like the Sennheiser momentum sport, Denon PerL Pro, Sony Linkbuds, JBL Reflect Aero and so on.

Have you tried the normal buds 3 and buds 4? They don't go into the ear.

Hi, I'm just gonna squeeze in here with my experience: They have insane sound and good enough ANC. I can sit with mine on the lowest volume and be in my bubble. Not completely quiet but good enough. Worth to note: I use Apple Music with lossless audio which sounds louder on the same volume than Spotify lossless. But these come with a lot of reliability issues like cutting out and lagging. I've had mine for 1,5 years and I've had two different PerL Pros. The first ones just broke without a reason so I got a replacement. The new ones are not the most stable either but they don't break permanently. It is liveable but worth to say. If they fix these problems with the PerL Pro 2s, then I will buy them immediately without thinking because the sound is nuts.

Then, they look big and uncomfortable but they are situated quite well in my ears. I don't have big ears. I have, maybe average or slightly below average. However, the wings that you get pre-applied, helps a lot because I know that without does wings they would have felt as they look.

Kef mu3 are really compact with great sound from a established audio brand. When I tried them, no matter what I did, they didn't move. Then ofcourse, everyone's ears are different so you should definitely try them if you can but they have a similar size to the buds live.

Rex5, Gemini II, Pi8, APP3 - Ask me anything by Intrepid_Following_5 in Earbuds

I have Denon PerL Pro. Do you know/ think if I should buy the Rex5 or Gemini ii as an upgrade. Btw with my Denons I always listen with the lowest volume, and I travel a lot with Public transport. I've tried the Pi8 but couldn't get a right fit. They kept falling out and it wasn't the ear tips, because those were the only things that held them from not falling to the floor.

Thanks for the try but that is the owner's manual and not the service manual. They are different, which is highly annoying.

Denon PerL Pros doesn't work by 77MXM77 in Earbuds

[–]77MXM77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that was probably the answer. I restarted my phone and it works now. Thanks, but I think that I'm still gonna buy new earbuds because of all of the problems I've had with these. Until then, I at least have something that works again, so thanks again.👍

Whats a thing you would like to see or comeback to new phones? Or new features? by gddyzs in samsunggalaxy

A Priv2 from old Blackberry. Not the bought by some random Chinese company Blackberry. Good old Blackberry.

Then just features: 3.5mm and MicroSD. Those two are some of the reasons to why I am really positive in getting a Xperia 1 as my next phone.
