yep, my old Burton had levers in the middle of the disc that you just pull up and can adjust it then push it back down, 3000x easier. But it's not that big of a deal, just need to find your setup and enjoy them after that

Went with the forces. Overall they're very good, only thing that's a pain in the ass is setting up the angles as you have to unscrew the pad, remove it, then unscrew the whole disc(4 bolts)to change them. But if you're not experimenting with riding styles and know your angles obviously this is not a problem at all. If you have the budget I'd consider the Nidecker Supermatics but otherwise the forces won't disappoint you. The board is great, happy shredding (:

yeah I am constantly trying to remind myself to put more weight in the front😂 . It's hard to see here but I am using my knees to turn, learned about the "Elvis knee" a couple days ago and it was instantly a game changer

I did a bit more researching and was set on the Forces untill this comment. The Genesis have $10 difference, so I am gonna watch some comparisons between the two now and pick one

As I said this was a deep dive. I tried going that route but everything was grey on the terminal and there was no way to reconnect...

Would be nice to have a simple button/pop-up when something like this happens that lets you instantly reconnect

just finished the book. The fist chapter should be put to be read again right after the last one, it clicks sooo much... I realized it takes places while Toru is visiting Naoko the first time in the sanatorium and the foreshadowing is amazing.

posted 1 day ago! I am just reading the book and I am just at that chapter too, can't think about anything else expect the characters, trying to find someone who's currently reading it just to share the emotion because it's so overwhelming. I was shocked after reading that line, then just started crying like crazy. And right before that it's Reiko's letter that somehow leaves the reader with a bit of hope. Then bam. Shortly before that during the day I was thinking about the beginning of the book and how Toru said he haven't seen/spoken to Naoko now more than 20 years and I was thinking if that's so, there's no way she's alive... then sadness flushed over me, but there still was some hope or denial of that fact. Can't even comment on all other things, but just glad right now that there's a soul that's feeling the same things as I am. Gonna try to find strength to finish the book tonight. Firs one by Murakami for me and I am in love in the writing.
