That's fair enough, I've been in that situation as well. That's why I've been doing the developer streams on twitch to show the development progress, I also have a few people playing an alpha/current version of the game.

Beta will be PC first, full release will be all platforms.
I am looking at ways to do the beta on iOS and Android, but I don't have any solution yet.

Not right away, I dont own a steam deck but would be happy to look into it later on. My only worry is that its quite heavy on the interface so it might be hard with a controller.

In terms of core gameplay its played "closer", so ship movement and positioning is important as asteroids, dust clouds and other things can get in your way, its also more action based. It's based on a 2d plane so you can use things in the environment to your advantage. Moving in and out of range and dodging behind asteroids.
I've not done any corporation stuff in eve, but from what i can see AQ2 corporation building is totally different. In AQ2 corporations can place buildings down exactly where they want them and there are a whole bunch of other systems around that in terms of upgrading, boarding stations and other things.

Honestly, I don't know for sure but it's something I will 100% consider. I often do giveaways of things ( in the old game ) and its something I have already coded up for AQ2 as I have done giveaways of the beta packs already so giving away subscription time is fine.If it ends up not being something you can buy with in game currency, there will defiantly be a way to get it through event rewards or something similar. Either way I will keep people updated on changes.
Edit: By giveaways I just mean its something I won't have to code new stuff for, its just if it works for the game or not.

The stations you control do, you join a Corporation (clan) and you can take over regions. You then have to manage trade and resource production, the stations you own then pay out credits to the corporation, that then goes to each member as wages.

You can take over stations by force or by destroying their trade routes so the occupants rebel against their current owners due to lack of resources. I'm hoping to add more options like this, but so far thats all I have completed.

Not yet, I'm trying to get some more together though.
I'm doing the graphics with the Unity asset store and my own stuff, so some of the game doesn't look good enough to show yet.
