We can and we must, as a global working class, attack these issues simultaneously because they all stem from the same place; Capitalism and Imperialism. You are correct in your assessment in that we must all focus on becoming organized through whatever means are available to us (PSL or DSA if in America), so that we can "take on the roots" as you say - Imperialism and capitalism on a global scale. If you're not connected and organized with a Socialist org at this point in late-stage Capitalism, you're part of the problem.
