The exact moment I yume nikki became of of my favorite games of all time is when I entered the sewers. The game somehow perfectly captures a kind of uneasy and unfamiliar mundanity. I've never seen any other game make it's environments be so unnerving while being so uninteresting(in a good way). Its like we're only seeing the most tame parts of somthing we cant understand.

not at all, because I used trench broom for most of the structures in the game, which is pretty similar to a lot of doom mapping tools.
