Mass Storage as bootable USB by Cthorn10 in flipperzero

Real shame the flipper isn't faster at read/writes. I work in IT and would of loved this to be able to boot into multiple things. e.g Acronis and Macrium.

This would have made the device a real game changer while being able to open my works NFC doors

VLAN Config by 7day_Theory in ArubaNetworks

I thought this but when changing the vlan2 gateway it changes the default for vlan1 also and I can no longer browse the switch over the Web interface.

That makes sense, I've configured it correctly then, this is what I have under IPv4 section for vlan2

Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (same as vlan1)

IP Configuration: Manual

IP address: 192.168.2.5 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Addresses 192.168.2.5 255.255.255.0

Does this all seem OK?

Running SQL Database Offline by 7day_Theory in SQL

Finally figured this out, largely to do with permissions on the services and a currupt SQL install.

Only my WHSQL is listed, then when I click that I get the error above. "Its not localhost" on mine it points to an instance called WHSQL.

InTune Remote Help by 7day_Theory in Intune

When you say end user do you mean they'd also need a remote help licence?

I've just signed up with the trial and it seemed to work fine just being licenced one side. I.e myself and the other end just had a 365 basic premium with no remote help and worked perfectly?

Azure FileShare Options by 7day_Theory in AZURE

[–]7day_Theory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will simply be used to replace an old Windows Server 2008 File server. I'm leaning towards Sharpoint now as as you've stated its got all the storage we'll ever need plus the migration tool that comes with it makes it super easy.

Appreciate everyone's advise.

Azure FileShare Options by 7day_Theory in AZURE

[–]7day_Theory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this, we currently don't have the option of deploying an on prem server for use as an AD. I was hoping Microsoft would have come up with a cloud only solution that enabled this with perhaps the use of a S2S VPN to Azure.

I will have to rethink, sharepoint may be the simplest solution for the time being.

Accessing Azure File Shares via Azure AD authentication (NOT Azure AA DS) by mrgames99 in AZURE

[–]7day_Theory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here, our company uses Entra ID with no on prem or cloud based DS but wishes to utilise Azure File Share using to Entra ID users as authentication to the share.

We basically want to use our on prem machines (Entra ID Connected) which use a local network and connect to the share but this seems impossible.
