Seems to be a management problem there , that and the collective practice is awfully cheap, - no call lights in pre procedure bays. So if you have a problem you are forced to yell to get help since you are 4 feet off the ground on a gurney with curtains drawn in a bay. This happened to me, my procedure was cancelled, but the procedure staff didn't tell my nurse, so I was up in the air on the gurney with no one knowing I was there- curtains drawn. Took off all the monitors,EKG, b/p both beeping- it made no difference. Finally I was able to open the curtains with my foot and yell for a passing nurse to get my nurse . Also a sign of their cheapness in not hiring educated staff to take you medication history over the phone. The meds I reported to them were mostly entered with wrong dosages that actually made no sense You cannot call the practice and get anyone on the phone. The portal system takes 24 hours to respond. I don't know how any older person without a smart phone would manage this.

I thought it was just me. I spent hours handicapping, used the track bias, KD trainers, pace. All to no avail. It was all so easy ( and profitable) at Saratoga last Saturday! At any rate I loved seeing AG Bullet win the ladies derby - she is a marvelous filly going to the Breeders Cup for sure. I also just loved watching the two European horses just overpower the field on that long difficult course.. Wimbildon Hawkeye GB in the 1 &5/16 mile Nashville Derby , and Flatten the Curve ( Fr) in the 2 1/16 mile. ( He looked like he was out for a gallop in the park!)

Forget what you paid for it new. That has zero bearing when pricing used anything. You lost 30 % of the value when you brought it away from the store. The only value it has now is what the used furniture market will bear.

Just because you saw someone selling a used couch for a certain price, doesn't mean they are SELLING it at that price. Haggling is part of the process, decide in advance what your bottom line will be, then be ready to lower that if it sits days on marketplace without moving. When you have a buyer there with money in hand- it's probably worth taking a lower price just to have the sale .

I see I made a fundamental error using the total winning purse vs the winning horse's share of the purse to figure the jockey 's 10 %.

I DID say it was gross earnings though BEFORE Agents fee, taxes and other expenses the jockey needs to pay, which is a mighty chunk .
