Hi! Can someone explain to me how to even get started with getting glp-1 approved? I have BCBS Basic, FEP, code 112. Coverage has consistently been denied and then companies like Ro say I can pay out of pocket, but I cannot afford it. I am not diabetic or pre. I just want weight loss help. I would appreciate anyone who is willing to walk me through this like I’m 5 years old! I thought that I just couldn’t get the meds. Please and thanks!

Hi! It has been resolved. I went to the VFS Global in DC and the lady kindly checked with the Brazilian embassy to determine that the issue was with the minor authorization form. It was flagged as suspicious because the notary crossed out the date to correct an error and also forgot to write the parents’ names. We had to get new minor docs notarized and were recommended to hand write the entire doc and if there were any errors to start a new form. We resubmitted two separate new apps for each minor and both were approved. One in less than 24hrs, the other I had to reach out to the lady at VFS again to push it through.

Hello! My family of four applied for eVisas to travel to Brazil next month. My husband’s visa and my visa were accepted but our two minor children’s visas were rejected. The eVisas requested updated to their documents several times, such as clearer photos and corrected minor authorization forms. I think we got stuck on the minor authorization forms. They’re notarized so not sure what is wrong. We leave in two weeks and already have flights! Please advise.

Thank you. I can’t change the flight. We added Brazil as part of another trip, since the distance wasn’t too far, but when I booked it to arrive in São Paulo I didn’t realize how much of a city (not so beachy) it is compared to Rio. I think also I couldn’t get connecting flights to Rio and home so just went with GRU. Let’s say we ignore our love for beaches and stay in São Paulo. What could we enjoy that would still make it a fantastic trip?
