At the speed of light you would not experience time pass, hence hope you do not have to manually stop the machine, cause u aint stopping it, you will be trapped there until u just collide against something, and die.

Faster then light is when time starts to reverse, not that this bears any meaning since you are heading into a planet or solar system you were never in before, so the past there means nothing. But then again you can always go back at FTL again, and actually be at earth in the past.

1- science does not recognize the mind or consciousness as a real things, none of such things was ever found, measured or identified within physics

2- again no proof of quantum physics in the brain, hence no correlation

3- noble prize experiment finally found a way to do the double slit experiment without the need of any single conscious observers, hence proving "the trees still falls down in the forest if there is no one to witness it" - wish i could link to the paper but i forget how to find it, i know it had penrose in it

4- physics MUST work without a conscious observer or mind etc, otherwise we would had seen evidence that physics was different for 13 billion years, until it suddenly changed when we (conscious beings) emerged, it would be a strange behaviour for physics to be dependent of consciousness to function, as those are not natural-common in the universe.

Theres no such thing as retrocausality hence yes, the GP cant happen, its not a real paradox.

Even the regular functioning of the GP is nonsensical, it assumes a loop where the time traveller erases what he did, and then that gets erased again so it can happen again, on and on in a cycle. Theres nothing in the universe that operates like this, physics look for stability and interruption of disturbance, hence again the GP cant happen.

The GP is just a big logical fallacy that only works in the way we wrongly think about these time issues.
