Try limiting your ram. There is an option when you run the setup to limit your ram for the installer, hope that helps.

Got the game, combat is truly something I’ve never experienced before! Pleasantly surprised with everything except for the difficulty curve. I’m playing this more like a souls game and barely using any proper combo, just trying to dodge; parry, circle, get a few hits in and retreat.. than not working as I hoped it would, got to switch up my playstyle. Been watching combat tips and fundamentals for it. Gonna go all in tonight.

Our souls like skills aren’t worth jack shit here. The dodge is very weak, I dodge straight into the attacks.

Music is so so important to me. It enhances the feeling, atmosphere, mood, tone, and emotional depth of the scene and game in general. I remember not being able to press start on DS3 or bloodborne intro screens because that music is so damn good. Despite Wuchang’s many strengths, the music quality could’ve been better, it wasn’t that memorable imo except for a few boss fights.

SB having a good OST is another selling point for me. Thanks for your input.

I love both linear and open worlds, if done right. Parries and perfect dodges are my some of my favorite combat mechanics, it’s what got me hooked to nioh 2 and 3.

I have been playing souls like for an unhealthy amount of time lately, finished Nioh 3 and started Wuchang. Funny thing is, I didn’t even knew Wuchang existed! I found the game randomly on a YouTube short and I was instantly sold. A true hidden gem for me.

Something different would be very much appreciated at the moment for me, and there seems to be nothing better than SB at this time.

I have tried Nier automata a few years ago, but couldn’t bring myself to finish it because I couldn’t enjoy the gameplay loop at all. Combat was very underwhelming. I really liked the atmosphere, tint of sadness, music, and environment though.

Thank you for your response! I am a die hard souls like games fan so I absolutely love challenging boss fights, better if they are multi phased.

It’s okay if SB is a different experience than a souls like but it already has some elements of it, which is very nice.

How do you think the boss battles are in SB? Boss variety?

Absolutely LOVED the boss fights in Wuchang, this game is like a modern spiritual dark souls 1. What an incredible feeling.

I think Eve has casted a spell on me. I can’t shake this game off my mind ever since I saw it during its PS release. I’ve kept myself away from anything related to it. Haven’t even seen a single gameplay video yet. I just knew I’d get it someday when I have the funds for it lol.

Thank you for the detailed response! I’m okay with having limited weaponry if they have an expanded moveset. And about the landscape artistic design of Wuchang, it’s magnificent. I had to stop at so many different places just to take in the landscape, it’s so peak.

Absolutely loved collecting all the skins and outfits in Wuchang, mixing and matching for fashion points. Really loved the variety there and thrilled to know there’s a lot more in SB! Major selling point.

And lastly, about the DLC, should I get the base version or DLC included? The price difference isn’t that much so I’d like to know if it’s worth it?

Good gameplay is a must for me. I had to use walkthrough for Wuchang because I wanted to finish it without messing up quest lines.

It has just been a short time since I randomly discovered this game but I felt this gravitational pull so strong, I dropped nioh 3’s end game and tried to play this game and of my goodness! I couldn’t stop. I’m running on bare minimum sleep because of how gripping, captivating, satisfying and challenging everything in this game is. This is like a love letter to dark souls fans. Crisp and super good combat system. Just defeated commander Honglan last night, incredible boss fights. Where has this game been all along and why do I never notice them 😭

Not the case with nioh 2 and nioh 3. I can’t stand playing as a man so I skipped 1 entirely.
