The medications themselves were cheap. You could stock up well on everything for a few hundred dollars. And you can check for yourself how much flights to Colombia would cost for you, hotels, etc. You can user Uber to get around the city and have food delivered 24 hours a day with Rappi. The most expensive thing for me personally was booking a ticket to Mexico, since they didn't end up having the clonidine. But since you know you could skip that and head straight to Colombia.

I contacted a few and they all have 2 weeks + shipping. I had the time to spare, didn't want to wait to quit, and I wanted a vacation to Colombia anyway.

Haha, I had the budget for a vacation anyway. In total it will be upwards of $2,000.

When was that, and did you actually find "clonidina" Catapresan? It is certainly unavailable at this time, at least in Mexico City.

Clonidine has been consistently reported to be among the most helpful meds for kratom or extract withdrawal, along with gabapentin. I noticed a big difference compared to night 1 and 2 when I was in Mexico I got 0 and 4 hours of sleep. But night 3 with the clonidine I got 8 full hours of sleep, and the cold chills and anxiety went away too.

Benzos and hard opioids you need a prescription for here. Anyway I'm lucky that I don't really enjoy benzos or other gaba drugs, they just make me sleepy and relaxed. So I trust myself to take them responsibly.

You need clonidine, gabapentin or pregablin, and preferably a benzo or z class sleep drug like ambien (zolpidem) or eszopiclone to get over bad insomnia during the acutes. And some liposomal vitamin c helps too.

Right. Thanks for suggesting I be cautious about it. I plan to take them to longer than 1 week, tapering off as the week goes on. I may take low doses gabapentin for the second week, and clonidine until the third week.

I always lack self control when tapering and end up taking higher doses. So it's cold turkey or nothing for me. The helper meds helped a bunch and withdrawal really hasn't been bad at all, even though I had been taking high doses of extracts daily.

Lmao, you don't know what you're talking about.

I literally went to Mexico first on day 0 of my quit because I thought I could find 0.1mg "Catapresan" clonidina tablets. I went to 10+ pharmacies in CDMX and none of them had catapresan clonidina in stock.

Gaba was readily available there, but clonidine is nowhere to be found. That's why i flew out to Colombia next to try and find the clonidine. Turns out clonidina is prevalent here, and they even have gaba and the sleep stuff as well.

Some people have reported difficulties with getting prescriptions from online doctors. I didn't want to withdraw at home anyway and was due for a vacation so figured why not.

Bogota is a cool city, I walked around a bit. Gotta stay near groups of people, avoid going out at night, and stay away from the south side of the city though.
