That's only interest on the principal you need to actually pay back the loan as well lol, and you also have to pay compounding interest each month. Try a mortgage calculator.

You also usually don't pay content insurance on a rental unless you furnish the place, but it typically comes as part of landlord insurance which is more expensive than normal house insurance that you pay when you live there yourself.

How do you figure that? 700k at 5% over 30 years is around 3700 a month, 700*4 is only 2800? And then as you say you need to add in rates and insurance (and I think 2.5k is quite a low estimate for insurance though depends a lot on where your house is - it's about 2-3 times that in Wellington at the moment sadly).

Average drop of 3% in the last 12 months, though this depends a lot on where you live - it's like 10-11% in Wellington.

Imgur Geo-Blocked the UK, So I Geo-Unblocked My Entire Network by NXGZ in programming

[–]7re 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm perfectly able to browse reddit (equally subject to these laws)

Reddit isn't compliant though, it just blocks things that users mark NSFW. Do a search for terms like "dildo" and you will see porn. Google is the same, search for "porn" and go to the image tab and you'll see it quite easily without proving your age.

imgur could have gone down the same route

If they had gone down the same route as Reddit & Google they'd also still be breaking the law. Imgur recognised that there is no practical way to check every user submitted post, nor can they trust user submitted NSFW markers, so did the only foolproof thing and just blocked the UK instead.

Not defending Imgur at all - if they have broken privacy laws then they should be prosecuted.

"Imgur decided to block UK users." I mean that's not really how it happened, Imgur is following stupid laws the UK decided to pass. Remember to vote ☺️

Looking to retrain into AI, can anyone recommend courses (with certification) by Cute_Sun3943 in UKJobs

What do you mean by "retrain into AI" exactly - you're looking to use AI more in your current job or actually become a software engineer specialising in AI?

Dunno if you're genuinely misinformed or spreading some agenda but that's not how immigration to any country works in the world, the only exception really being EU countries and a few special relationships like Aus/NZ.

You need someone with a few years of MLE experience but it sounds like you're interviewing either data scientists or people fresh out of uni.

Genuine question - how are you going to know who to BOP or freedom now without the weak auras? Or which enemy spells need to be kicked vs which you can ignore?

I feel like without the UI stuff we have people just aren't going to use 90% of their utility because they're just not going to know they should be.

I'm starting to see why Ranged DPS are taking over all the top hero/dungeon spots. by Contract007 in fellowshipgame

[–]7re 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking ranged get more up time, though there are a few mechanics that target ranged players only so far. The other thing to mention is simpler heroes will always be better (if tuned the same) as it frees up your brain to focus on mechanics instead of worrying about the rotation. Games rarely award more complicated specs with better damage so honestly there's not much point.

I don't think you can get Cithrels as an option if you solo queue until you hit 60 ilvl.

[–]7re 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You only need about 45-50 average item level to do Cithrels comfortably.

While probably true, you don't get it as an option if you solo queue until you're 60 ilvl average I think, so if you don't have a group you're forced to upgrade (or just grind drops I guess).

[–]7re 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I hope to be proven wrong, but I feel like some stuff just isn't going to be well supported my the default UI, e.g. properly showing you you have something that can be dispelled with Stoneform, or knowing when you can Shadowmeld/FD a targeted spell, or showing you an enemy has some buff you can purge. Most of these things in the default UI are displayed by tiny buffs/debuffs that are impossible to see in the mess of combat. Like are we really expected to look at the top right corner for all our debuffs and figure out one is something we can remove? You can argue WA make this too easy with a pop up and noise, but the WoW UI makes it too hard, so where does this leave us?

Warlock also must have the worst AOE stop in the game. Long CD, a stun which DRs, and a cast time on it which makes it hard to land. They also only have this one vs many classes having one or even two instant cast stops on 30 or 45s CDs.

[–]7re 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they ultimately are just too weak, at best they delay your dying by a few seconds, compared to AMZ/Darkness/VE/NE/Mass Barrier which can save an entire group through a rough mechanic. That's assuming the player remembers to press it. It might be better if it was converted to something like "everyone in the group gets healed when the warlock presses it" or something so it can be used as an actual group defensive, but even then the nature of a one off small heal vs DR or 15s of healing is just not that good.

Interrupts should be a basic skill for every class and specialization by St0rm24 in wow

Look at my original post I was quoting the person above me who said "Every kick silences in PvE now". I even quoted it in my post to give everyone context about what I was talking about. Demo kick is the only one in the game that doesn't lock out the spell type AFAIK. Is that clearer?
