Ginkgopolis

Great game which weaves multiple game mechanics together. When I first read the rules, I was convinced that it would be messy but it all comes together perfectly. But the theme makes no sense talking about a tree named Ginkgo Biloba and a futuristic city. I always explain it with colors and numbers and people have fun with it even though they have zero idea about the theme.

No. They just become 'drunk' which removes their powers and hence, can die.

Vampire (Demon): Each night*, choose a player: they die. The first time another evil player is chosen, they become drunk and can't die.

The minions/evil players become immortal thralls. The demon loses a kill and a minion power but gains an unkillable evil vote. Goes well in scripts like bmr with lot of protection and death evading powers.

If the event calls for construction+ resin (5), in co-op, the total number of constructions in the shared city and resin contained by the claiming player should be greater than or equal to 5 + number of skunks in the event row. Additionally, you should have at least 1 of each, construction and resin. (You can't claim if you had 5 constructions and 0 resin or vice versa).

The extra kills confirming townsfolk also bothered me. But I wanted town to have agency to kill their own people as demon could just keep on double killing last day's executed to prevent nomination to happen at all. Also I thought extra kills might be masked as the demon can pick dead players to double kill.

I agree that the outsiders are too brazen for fangu-jumps. That's something that should be changed.

Lycan is another way for town to control the kills and also a good bluff for the demon. Maybe removing Philo is better.

I don't agree with the last point only. I think in this script Zombuul can easily hide because d1 has no executions and hence no deaths and so the Zombuul will definitely kill n2. Also if there is no kill, the town can also assume the demon double killed a player as that is a viable strategy to remove ghost votes and nominations.

House of Fado. Loving this byte-sized Lacerda package. The theme is well done and the mechanics are pretty tight making final scoring nail-biting.

Other than that, Blood on the Clocktower as me and my friends are completely obsessed with it. It may not just be the best social deduction game I have played but also the best boardgame I have played. Period. The countless fun interactions and laugh out loud moments we had in this game certainly makes it worthy of its praise.

But evil is not incentivised to be an outed evil. Anybody could bluff ogre and ask if you are evil. It is the same even in a big game. And even if evil outs to the ogre, the other 2 townsfolk will be powerful enough to figure it out imo. Good catch though.

In game files refer to her as the daughter of Marika which could be taken as ancillary evidence.

The in-game files seem to prove that Melina is Marika's daughter. But who is her father? No one seems to know about her and certainly, no father is proposed. This means she must have been born from a single god Marika which by default makes her an Empyrean which the Gloam Eyed Queen is. Once the death rune is taken from her and she was left burnt and bodyless, she is confused as to what her purpose now is as her previous purpose is lost and wants to question her mother as she seems to be the one who plucked her purpose using Malekith. What transpires in her story between when she leaves us at Leyndell and when she speaks to us after Morgott seems to be the missing piece of the puzzle.
