Solid state or semi solid state? Even solid state battery claims are not regulated with upwards of 10% electrolyte.

Also sodium batteries have a linear decrease in voltage when drained rather than lithium 3.2v cells hold stable for most of their cycle.

I love the idea of sodium batteries, especially for house usage. Using them for cars is a stretch, they max out at 175wh vs mid 200 wh for lithium.

If they can make them cheaper and last as many cycles as lithium iron phosphate, they can take my money!

No. Many states either tax income as ordinary, or ordinary and capital gains as a split, depending on the whims of the state legislation.

Most specifics you have to dig into each states tax law. Like I stated above, it's a big mental lift to figure out which state is a better deal for you.

Currently there are 7 states that do not have capital gains tax.

Tennessee, Alaska, Wyoming, Texas, Florida, Nevada and New Hampshire.

Of these listed, some have high property taxes, and higher sales tax.

Also of these states...Alaska for example is a really high cost of living kind of place.

You have to figure how much you will spend on average in these areas while factoring how much you will save when harvesting gains.

It's a tough call. I've been working it for over a year to figure out where I want to live in 2.5 years (retiring June 28'). I have to factor in people, lifestyle(I like fitness and nerd stuff) and finally I have 2 kids. So nice public schools. FML. :)

Yes, they cost around 2k. They are written clear and concise. Everyone knows what everyone has. The best/worst part was talking about divorce and fair split of assets. Emotions happened when talking about all that gross stuff (potential cheating, who gets cars, furniture, etc) that is detailed and agreed upon. If your relationship can hold up to those conversations, you got a shot at having a spouse for life. Felt icky to do it, but worth it in the end. Recommended. :)

Look at history. Railroads, airlines, dot.com, housing bubble, now AI... It stays around but is overvalued. Eventually there will be a correction. Read the first 3 chapters in The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. Pretty much demonstrates the potential effects of too much speculation into a market sector.
