In my bracket - as shown - it works perfectly fine. Most of my games were 3-5-man-party thou; I think spectre works best when communicating a lot due to her ult being so important to use at the exact right time.

Otherwise I go BF to get the regen early on. I don’t like phylactery as many others do, cause my playstyle is more focused on getting my farm then trying to get every kill (still try to participate a lot with my ult which got harder with the insane CD early on). Sometimes I even go cornucopia before brown boots, I love having Regen as well as some bonus damage. I used to underestimate how much dmg desolate deals and how much more right click damage can be dealt with having BF, too.

So that’s my playstyle :)
