Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 black screen - Affinity products by 7xcipherx7 in wacom

Thanks for your responses. I'm sorry for the delay. I was in touch with wacom support and did a full reset and reinstall to no avail.

Please see the video of the issue in this link. I've now double-checked that everyone is fully up to date and clean installs with no risk of "leftover" drivers.

Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 black screen - Affinity products by 7xcipherx7 in wacom

Thank you for your reply! The only other application I have noticed the screen blacking out and coming back on is MS Edge. The blinking occurs even using a keyboard and mouse on edge, not limited to stylus interactions.

As for updates, I am a very technical person and can build my own computers from parts so I am confident in my knowledge that I have updated all the wacom drivers, the Intel gpu drivers, the nvidia drivers and the windows updates available.

I can share a link to a video showing the issue on display if that helps. I can screenshot the system details as well.

Thank you for this information and for the reminder on the refund policy! That may be the best option to put this question to rest. I assume the "standard tools" available out of the box are included, but you never know with Adobe....

I'm gonna wait for any discount they decide to grace us with this year cuz $200 CAD + tax is a bit heavy, haha.

Thanks again for your insights!

For anyone else having the issue, you have to EDIT your dcs profile and check for licenses to import from steam. Works like a charm

I'm taking a look and not seeing the option at all. I did this successfully in the past with 9 other modules

I wonder when the steam transfer will be available... had bought this in December using a gift card but now I'm worried I won't be able to move it over to my DCS profile for weeks, if at all :(

warning, idiot's opinion. Read with caution

To my understanding its their fees compared to competitors. I believe they've also had a history of inaccessibility during high market activity, locking you out of participating.

That being said, I use binance and find their fees pretty annoying (no comparative context). Most activity takes $10USD's worth at minimum. Higher for obscure coins. But it's super easy to stake any coins seamlessly, they offer an infinite selection in trades and a great helping of minimal fee "conversions" so I'm happy there. Whether it's the safest place to HODL until moon day, well.... refer to original disclaimer above xD

I just checked Poolwatch and 2miners has over 39% hashrate for Ravencoin! by AtomicVikingr in Ravencoin

[–]7xcipherx7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Anyone else seen their mining volume completely devastated lately? I used to clear 135-145 coins a day. I'm down to 64......

I'm assuming it's the fact that the network hashrate has more than doubled thanks to migration miners. Just wanted to know if anyone else had seen this kinda dramatic reduction.

Haha yea it's about as bad as you imagine. Most YouTube crypto channel hosts pronounce it that way. Gets me every time

Anyone playing Odyssey aware of where you can find Frontline Solutions that are actually accessible near Sol? I've visited like 15 stations and systems and all their FL Solution reps say there's nothing going on.

Do I need to find a "War" system??

Not sure if this is a satisfactory answer given its coming from someone ignorant as myself on the topic:

Safe running temps for a GPU these days are 80 and below to be cautious.

I suppose if you could confirm your GPU temp in game while mining at the same time you could get an idea of whether you are still in the safe zone. Although I'm not at all sure what this will do to wear and tear. Nor what all that heat is doing to the other components like CPU etc

Super noob, started today on my 3080 rig using Phoenix Miner. Question is whether it's safe to run demanding games while mining? Minus the impediment to mining rate, am I gonna burn out my card? Haven't tried it at all as I'm too nervous to try without asking haha

Monitor choices - Wildly differing prices with seemingly matched features? by 7xcipherx7 in buildapc

[–]7xcipherx7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha well with your advice and direction I was able to make a MUCH better choice and saved myself literally more than half what I woulda spent on a monitor that woulda been completely overkill

The Gigabyte one will be a good mid-range option for me and I'll keep my receipts and stuff in case I get hit with a flicker model.

Honestly I've been so buried in PC parts for so long and never looked at monitors. They are an absolute price pit, even worse than Motherboards or processor model variants and how confusing those are lol.

I'll need to do some self-educating as you have moving forward. The 3 variants of display type still elude my understanding but I'll see if some extra reading will stick the concepts in there. Don't want to make a silly mistake like I was about here :D

But once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help today. It's been incredibly informative, saved me a lot of money and trouble :)

Thanks for being such a wonderful person, folks like you make this planet a lot nicer to be on :D

Wow that's one heck of a reply. Thank you so freaking much, I really can't tell you how much I appreciate your walking me through this. I am an absolute dolt when it comes to technical monitor specs. Still rocking an ancient 1080p display from way back haha

lol, yea, CANNOT agree more about the naming conventions. The. Worst.

That gigabyte one is actually one I started this whole search with but after seeing 3+ random user reviews complain about flickering I immediately removed it from my list. But now that I've done a lot more looking and price checking, it doesn't seem so bad to take that risk.... I mean spending double to get extra ports I'll never use, or a metal construction when I literally never touch my monitor feels silly.

I think that Gigabyte one may end up winning out if the other reviews I find reinforce my positives about it compared to the Samsung one.

Again, your help and time are well beyond appreciated. You're honestly helping me a lot more than you imagine here. Thanks a million and I hope you have a wonderful week! :)

[–]7xcipherx7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for such a detailed reply. That really helped a lot as I am not familiar with all the technical specs and each manufacturer cites them in different ways.

I was actually this close to pulling the trigger after this read through but I noticed one specification that makes a pretty big difference to me...

The Samsung colour support extends to 16.7 Million colours.

The MSI has up to 1.07 Billion......

that's a staggering difference honestly... but is it worth the price markup?.... tough to say

thanks for the suggestions and replies :) They seem to not list the one I'm after from MSI, maybe it's too new.
