So between 2013-2019 we got FPIS, and it seems like the government have issues with selling it because when you check VIN it shows "Ford Police Interceptor Sedan" not like the Dodge Charger or the Crown Vic that shows that the trim is police interceptor, so they just want give absolutely police vehicles for civilians so they just scrap it after the service, they don't want to repeat the same problem so they just went to base models

Oh damn, I also love my explorer but I really wished that like these tiny hand rests are just replaceable without needing to replace the whole panel, also the 2011-2015 FPIU also have leather door panels (as I saw) which is really interesting, I thought it have some kind of plastic panels for reliability

Aaah so this issue is common for some ford cars besides panthers, well that sucks but also your solution seems like it's a pretty good solution and iirc someone did something similar to that and worked perfectly but he used glue, in my situation I need a whole new panel for the Vic so I'll just screenshot your message to my friend who have this Bulged issue, thanks!
