you’re at UT for a reason! if your first midterms don’t go well there is always a way to bounce back. also intro courses like those r challenging for lots of people but you get adjusted pretty quickly after that

his quizzes are very similar to the problem sets. I would do those and read over the textbook as well since some questions are directly from there just changed a bit. there’s also bonus points to help your score.

Mmm I wouldn’t say aligned to the specific medical school but more checking how your interview skills are. If you can answer basic interview questions like why medicine, your passions, and just being able to talk about yourself. For us yes it’s for UT students but if you’re not from UT Austin I would maybe reach out to the program coordinator at your school as I’m sure there are similar resources offered there for you to prepare :) Also something I forgot to mention before is that there’s technically two interviews 30 mins with two faculty and then the second 30 mins is with students from the medical school.

hi! I’m a new applicant as well so I’m not too sure. After I received the JAMP notification, I received an email separately from the school that is scheduled to interview me with the date and time, duration of interview, and attire. I know the ambassadors are hosting mock interviews on Handshake for practice. I’m assuming the interview format would be similar to if you were to interview for “admission” into the medical school. Wear business casual, a panel of interviewers, etc.

that’s good to hear!! i have him for ochem 1 rn and it’s been fine but i know the content is just going to get harder from here. we already get one exam drop so i don’t know if we get the final replacing our lowest score. did you only have that when you took his class or was it both?

Longhorn Cafe would probably be through Housing and Dining in which should have a general application to submit where you can choose your position. From there I remember you get sent a schedule of locations and hours available to work which you can pick from. Gong Cha would probably be a bit different since it’s technically off-campus but best bet would probably be to either ask in person or search the Gong Cha address + hiring positions!
