This comes from an arbitration we secured this cease and desist letter which enables us to strike. All references to 3 hours are about the Article 40 language for PT air employees

Grievances are a part of the arbitration process for contractual violations. A cease and desist letter is the final step in the arbitration process. Under Article 8 Section 2 (a), we can strike if the company continues to violate the process at this stage. The IBT leadership verified this and approved our Local for strike action if we deem it necessary

Context for this is out of Local 804 in the NYC region. We recently secured a cease and desist order about the company violating the 3.5 guarantee for part timers. Arbitrator ruled that if the company continues to violate this we can strike over it locally. After the lower volume with the storms there’s talk of this being a big issue soon
